The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has recently announced its nationwide recruitment of around 4000 new employees including official posts beginning by March this year to fill the vacant positions at the agency.

Some 4000 jobs which also include 500 officers will be filled up by the recruitment process. Other available positions are biologists, support staff like doctors, engineers, mechanic, accountants and public relation staff.

PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD 2017 JOBS: QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Be a natural-born Filipino citizen
  2. Have a good moral character
  3. Single
  4. Have a baccalaureate Degree holder for Officers (PRC License/Eligibility)
  5. Have at least 72 units in college or a graduate of TESDA courses for non-officers
  6. At least 21-26 years old (for officers), 18-26 years old for non-officers
  7. have a height of at least 5'4" for male and 5'2" for female
  8. Physically and mentally fit for training which may reach up to 1 year duration
  9. A good swimmer
The salary for entry-level coast guards start at P17,000 to P40,000 per month depending to the position applied.

    Hi. What do you mean by "at least xx-xx old"? Is it the only allowable age range or the minimum age range(meaning it can be older)? Thanks!
