VOLLEYBALL apparently never stops for Kapamilya star Kim Chiu.
Fresh from her convincing turn as Sisi Rondina in Maalaala Mo Kaya, Chiu was named as captain of her own team in the upcoming All-Star Games 2019.
The Kapamilya star will play alongside Creamline setter Jia Morado and University of Santo Tomas opposite spiker Ysa Jimenez in the Star Magic Spikers Women’s Volleyball on August 25 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Julia Barretto will lead her own team with volleyball player turned TV host Gretchen Ho and Far Eastern University star Carly Hernandez.
Rounding up the Team Kim Chiu are Nikki Valdez, Analain Lim, Vivoree Esclito, Gillian Vicencio, Yasmyne Suarez, Chienna Filomeno, and Dalia Varde, while Loisa Andalio, Katherine Gallo, Pamu Pamorada, Ashley Colet, Aiyanna Waggoner, Ella San Andres, and Arabella del Rosario will complete Team Julia Barretto.
Meanwhile, actor and Imus Bandera star Gerald Anderson will team up with Vice Ganda as they go up against Elmo Magalona and Jerome Ponce in the men’s basketball.
