The duo of Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons ruled the sands anew after clinching the 2019 Rebisco Beach Volleyball International Open at the Sands SM By The Bay on Sunday.
Rondina and Pons overpowered the pair of Dzi Gervacio and Dij Rodriguez in straight sets, 21-10, 21-16, in the finals match.
It was a better outing for the SiPons duo who competed in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour 1-Star last May in Boracay, where they reached the quarterfinals.
The competition serves as good preparation for both pairings as they will represent the country in the upcoming 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
