ABS-CBN on Sunday released its highly anticipated Christmas station ID, themed this year as “Family is Love,” featuring stories from different walks of life that show family is not only based on blood, but can also be the bond one shares with friends or a community.
The 2018 Christmas station ID, which first aired on the newly reformatted "ASAP," marked the rare gathering of some 400 Kapamilya celebrities, from newcomers to screen veterans, and singers to news anchors.
“Family is Love” included the stories of the Garcia brothers, three soldiers who fought in Marawi; Lorlie Noblezada, a mother of eight who took on a dozen jobs and graduated on scholarship; and Dr. Viktorija Cirvinskaite, a missionary doctor who found a new home in Talim Island.
It also featured survivors of the Ompong landslide in Benguet, as well as Margielyn Didal, the professional street skateboarder who earned the Philippines a gold model in this year’s Asian Games.
