The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) has released its full schedule for the elimination round of the upcoming 2020 All-Filipino Cup which is slated to start on March 8.
In a post shared by renowned local photographer KC Cruz, the league is set to feature matches that are sure to bring excitement for basketball fans – which includes some provincial games in Bataan, Cagayan de Oro, and Dipolog City.
On March 8, the PBA will hold its Leo Awards Ceremony to hand out trophies to winners of the individual awards for last season. It will be followed by the Season Opening Ceremonies and a highly-anticipated affair between San Miguel and Magnolia at 7:30 pm.
The Blackwater Elite and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings are to be featured in an out-of-town match on March 13 which will take place in Balanga, Bataan, while the San Miguel Beermen and NLEX Road Warriors will face off on April 25 at Dipolog City. On May 2, it will be the TNT KaTropa going up against the Magnolia Hotshots in a game that will take place in Cagayan de Oro.
Meralco and Ginebra will clash once more in what will be a finals rematch of the last Governors’ Cup on March 22 while San Miguel and TNT are to lock horns on May 13 for their Commissioner’s Cup rematch.
The league’s most popular team in Ginebra is slated to go up against its sister team in San Miguel on April 12. Talk ‘N’ Text, on the other hand, will be facing NLEX on April 15 and Meralco a week after.
Meanwhile, the much-awaited ‘Manila Clasico’ matchup between Ginebra and Magnolia will be set on May 10 in the final week of the eliminations.
