Focus will also be on the March 4 showdown when the Ateneo Lady Eagles – reinforced by returning veterans Kat Tolentino and Jho Maraguinot – start their bid for back-to-back crowns against University of the Philippines.
Unlike in past years, there will be Tuesday games with one men's and one women's games as the league opening was pushed back for more than two weeks due to the coronavirus threat.
Aside from MOA Arena, matches will also be played at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
Games on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays will have a program format that will see games alternating between men's and women's starting at 9 am.
"With the success of the men's volleyball team in the last SEA Games, it is about time that we put men's volleyball side by side with the women's volleyball," UAAP president Emmanuel Fernandez said of the program change.
