Jin is now considered the newest Kapamilya leading man, bagging one million pesos, a management and movie contract, a brand new pick-up truck and house and lot.
Jin bested his fellow Top three contenders—Jiro Custodio from Nueva Ecija and Eris Aragoza from Binangonan, Rizal.
Jin had a gripping monologue in the final “Spotlight” round, wherein they were asked to write their own spiels that truly evokes their personal story. He told the story about dealing with life without his father by his side.
Jin, Jiro and Eris emerged from the Top 6 that included Yuki Sakamoto, Dan Delgado, and Ron Macapagal, who all figured in the “Matinee Matibay Round” in which they acted in scenes with top Kapamilya ladies
Special awards were also given to deserving finalists who showed their edge in different areas.
Being photogenic and having such picture perfect smile, grand finalist Wize Estabillo received the Bida Smile award. For his affable personality or in other words, being the “Katropa ng Bayan”, Johannes Reesler became the contest’s Bida Brod awardee. The BidaBilidad award was given to finalist Jay Dizon. Having a well-chiseled figure, Jervy Delos Reyes won the Bida Bod award. The much-awaited award based on viewer votes, the Madlang People’s Choice award went to finalist Ron Macapagal.
