She defeated John Michael dela Cerna and John Mark Saga --the others who made the cut for the competition's top three. Dela Cerna placed third, while Saga finished second.
Duran won a P2-million cash prize, a house and lot, and a recording and talent contract, among other prizes.
The grand finals was held at the Caloocan Sports Complex.
